The aim of the EFPA Board of Assessment (BoA) was to develop and improve assessment practice in Europe. It was one of the oldest and largest working groups of the European Federation of Psychological Associations (EFPA).
The panel will share insights and impacts of the work of the BoA, in particular on using the updated Test Review Model, published in the summer of 2025.
Covering 37 countries, EFPA has a reach to impact test use practice for almost half the practicing Psychologists in the world. How far have we come, and what should we focus on further? To this end, the BoA panel will discuss:
- Using the (updated, version 5.0) European Test Review Model (https://www.efpa.eu/consultation-model-review-description-and-evaluation-psychological-and-educational-tests), for official and unofficial review processes
- Test user standards with Euro Test certification processes for meeting expected competence
- Online and mobile assessment, particularly drawing on the European survey of test attitudes
- Digitization, AI, and other technological advances
- Lobbying government and institutions across respective countries
