The Committee on Sustainable Development comprises 30 member organizations. Membership to the Committee
is open to NGOs holding consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations
(ECOSOC), having been granted general, special or roster status and maintaining a permanent representative accredited to the United Nations in Vienna.


It is thus one of the three committees in which IAAP is involved at the United Nations Office in Vienna (alongside the Committee on Narcotic Drugs and the Committee on the Status of Women).


This poster aims to illustrate the areas in which applied psychology (namely IAAP) can influence political decisions in an international context.
