Abstract text:
Drawing on a historical perspective, this presentation will examine how psychology has evolved in response to major social, political, and ethical challenges, and how global frameworks have increasingly shaped the discipline's identity and responsibilities. By situating contemporary debates within a broader historical trajectory, the presentation will offer insights into how psychology can learn from its past to better navigate current global demands related to ethics, human rights, and social transformation.
