This presentation will focus on the International Declaration of Core Competencies in Professional Psychology as a global benchmark for quality, relevance, and ethical responsibility in professional training and practice. It will explore how competency-based frameworks support international mobility, comparability of qualifications, and social accountability, while remaining sensitive to cultural diversity. The presentation will also address current challenges in implementing competency-based education across different higher education systems worldwide.
