The aim of this round table discussion is to examine the impacts of research and practice in managerial psychology and the psychology of sustainable development. The field of managerial psychology is well situated to contribute to the base of knowledge for research and practice related to decent work, overall well-being, and inequities. The two co-chairs and two presenters have served on the editorial team at the Journal of Managerial Psychology, which is a part of the Publishers Compact to focus on and accelerate research that progresses the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Panelists will discuss key areas of research and practice in managerial psychology that are contributing to meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Panelists will further discuss the open questions and needs for avenues of inquiry that would be most impactful in meeting the SDGs.
