In today's fast-paced, technologically advanced world, the pursuit of material success often compromises physical and mental well-being, particularly among young adults facing academic and societal pressures. With the rising global demand for mental health services, there is an urgent need to explore proactive, scalable, and accessible approaches to mental health management. Trait mindfulness, known for its personal and professional benefits associated with wellbeing, can be cultivated not only through traditional meditation but also through practices such as nature connectedness and gratitude. This study builds on positive activity model to examine the relationship between nature connectedness, gratitude, and trait mindfulness. Data will be collected from a sample of Indian young adults aged 18 - 29 using convenience sampling and standardized self-report measures. Findings may support the development of simple, practical self-regulation strategies to enhance mental health at the individual level.
