Abstract text:
Since the academic world is increasingly specialized and restricted by
structural constraints, the International Bateson Institute has done

professionals are brought together in order to combine and contrast
understandings of complex phenomena. Examples of this approach
will show how transcontextual research on 'warm data' will bring
together both academic knowledge and professional wisdom.
