Science communication and dissemination are key requirements in today's research environment and are among the main goals of COST Actions. In the LeverAge COST Action, we aim to build the world's largest network of scientists and practitioners in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP) and Human Resource Management (HRM), alongside other stakeholders, to co-create solutions for leveraging the multi-age workforce.
Effectively communicating research on work, aging and retirement to diverse audiences is essential. The primary stakeholders of this Action include workers, HR practitioners, consultants, managers, employers and employers' associations, unions, professional associations, and policymakers at local, regional, national, and European levels. Additionally, the scientific community is a crucial audience for disseminating research on work, aging, and retirement.
In this presentation, I will outline the science communication strategy of the LeverAge COST Action, focusing on the most effective channels for each audience, their impact, and the challenges involved. I will also share examples of successful communication initiatives and provide recommendations for researchers and scientific institutions seeking to engage diverse audiences.
