This project aims to identify and intervene in key aspects to improve the emotional well-being of people living in mountain and semi-mountain territories on the semi-rural communities in the Pyrenees. This project is structured into three phases: 1) Diagnose; 2) Share and Communicate; 3) Co-design and Intervene. In the first phase, the project aims to diagnose and identify the needs of citizens, key stakeholders, and managers to enhance emotional well-being, considering age groups, gender, gender roles, occupational roles, and situations of vulnerability. In the second phase, the project seeks to communicate and share the diagnoses of the main identified needs to establish response plans, generate ideas, and co-design solutions collaboratively. This will be done with expert groups composed of citizens, key community stakeholders, managers, and researchers. Finally, in the third phase, the project will address a previously identified need: the recovery of psychological well-being, which may have been affected by disasters, temporary isolation, stressful life events, etc. Co-creation and intervention design will be carried out to improve emotional well-being, leveraging community resources (physical, social, cultural, etc.). These resources and health assets will be identified, and a technological resource (website or app) supported by AI will be developed to personalize these resources based on age, gender, roles, preferences, vulnerability status, and place of residence. This technological resource will help to find a fit community resource and increase motivation by sending reminders or personalized messages. Finally, the tool will be piloted, implemented, and evaluated for usability, satisfaction, effectiveness, and implementation.
