Each of the member societies of APPA are at very different stages of development with regard to psychological regulation and accreditation and this session presents the spectrum of development from non-registered through to later phase developments in already registered contexts. This paper will introduce the aims and a brief history of APPA and develop the theme of how our regional organization helps and supports our members to in a variety of ways including contributing to progress with regard to regulation and registration.
