Abstract text:
Suicide in adolescence represents a constantly growing public health problem, with profound impacts at the individual, family, and social levels. This complex phenomenon is influenced by multiple biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors, which requires a comprehensive and specialized approach. In this context, psychologists play a fundamental role not only in the detection and treatment of suicide risk, but also in the development of preventive strategies and advocacy for public policies that guarantee an effective response from the health system.
