The Organised Acts of Kindness (OAK) campaign is part of the Social Impact Initiative (SII) of EFPSA. Launched as one of EFPSA's newest projects, OAK aims to bring positive psychology to life by encouraging individuals to perform small, meaningful acts of kindness in their daily lives. Unlike other SII projects that focus on mental health stigma or social inclusion through in-person activities, OAK operates fully online, using social media to reach psychology students and the wider public across Europe. Through digital platforms, OAK shares prompts, challenges, and ideas for simple acts that can brighten someone's day. The campaign's vision is to inspire a ripple effect, where kindness spreads beyond individuals to strengthen communities and enhance collective well-being. By connecting people through shared stories and experiences, OAK promotes empathy, compassion, and social connectedness in a creative and accessible way. As part of EFPSA's commitment to using psychological knowledge for societal benefit, OAK reflects the power of small actions to make a big difference - one act of kindness at a time.
