Abstract text:
The Mind the Mind campaign, organized by the Social Impact Initiative of EFPSA, aims to increase awareness of mental disorders, combat stigma, and promote help-seeking. Its two main elements are: (1) age-adapted psychoeducational workshops using videos, role-plays, games, and discussions to make complex topics accessible; and (2) the training of psychology students in psychopathology and soft skills to serve as facilitators. Guided by inclusivity, empathy, and evidence-based practice, the campaign fosters open dialogue, challenges misconceptions, and shares practical support strategies. Through a structured network of coordinators and volunteers, Mind the Mind in the recent wave has reached 15 countries and engaged over 500 psychology students, promoting cross-national collaboration and stigma reduction.
