The Human Capital Sustainability Leadership Scale (HCSLS) (Di Fabio & Peiro, 2018) captures the characteristics necessary to promote fulfilled and resilient workers and build healthy, prosperous, effective, and sustainable organizations. It is an integrative tool that incorporates new approaches to leadership, including ethical, sustainable, mindful, and servant leadership.French-speaking countries, like the others around the world, are committed to the process of sustainable development and the promotion of organizations that promote a healthy environment and ensure the fulfillment of workers without jeopardizing that of future generations. The objective of this study is to verify the psychometric properties of the French-speaking version of the LDCH scale, which is particularly relevant in this context. First, the scale was translated into French using a translation-back-translation process. The translated version was pre-tested with 10 French executives. A questionnaire containing the HCSL scale and the psychological flourishing scale was distributed online. CFA, invariance, and validity analyses of the scale were then performed. Results show that the French version of the HCSL scale has good psych ometric properties. The structure of the translated scale corresponds to that of the original scale, with good fit indices and very good internal consistency for both the four dimensions of the scale and the overall scale. It was also observed that this scale structure did not vary according to the gender of the participants, their country of origin, or their country of residence. However, for the latter criterion, some results show weaknesses that need to be explored. Thus, the HCSL scale appears to be adequate for studying the characteristics of managers necessary for promoting healthy and sustainable organizations in French-speaking countries that foster employee fulfillment and resilience.
