This project introduces an innovative Emotional Intelligence (EI) training program designed for adults utilising Virtual Reality (VR) technology to create immersive and interactive learning experiences. The training aims to support the development of emotional recognition, regulation, and social communication skills by exposing participants to realistic social scenarios in a controlled virtual environment. Through guided VR sessions, participants engage in activities that help them identify emotions, practice appropriate responses, and navigate common social interactions. The program is currently being piloted, with the intention of exploring its feasibility, acceptability, and potential benefits for enhancing emotional and social competencies. This VR-based approach may offer a scalable and accessible tool for clinicians, educators, and families, and could contribute valuable insights into the use of immersive technologies to improve EI and social skills.
