Many adolescents today experience indolence or the NEET condition, drifting without motivation for study or work. This disengagement often reflects the absence of a meaningful scale of values that can guide choices and energize commitment. Ontopsychological pedagogy proposes re-educating youth to values rooted in vitality, responsibility, and constructive presence in society. By recognizing the difference between imposed stereotypes and authentic intentionality, adolescents can learn to identify values that increase life, creativity, and dignity. The presentation highlights practical pedagogical pathways that help young people assume responsibility, discover personal vocation, and transform passive attitudes into constructive action. Rebuilding a scale of values is not moralistic prescription but the rediscovery of criteria that orient adolescents toward a life of self-realization and effective contribution to their community.
