This talk presents Lizori as a model for environmental higher education and experiential learning. Through international workshops involving more than 30 universities, students, doctoral candidates, and professionals collaborated on proposals for rural enhancement, later disseminated through exhibitions and a comprehensive academic volume. The presentation emphasizes how immersive, real-world contexts foster environmental awareness, interdisciplinary cooperation, and personal growth. By advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education), Lizori provides an exemplary case of place-based pedagogy that equips new generations with skills and values for sustainability. The contribution highlights the replicability of this educational model, showing how transdisciplinary learning environments can integrate psychology, architecture, and civic engagement.
