Abstract text:
Many professionals' activities, most of the rich economy, affect dramatically ecosystems (Hickel et al., 2022). The unsustainable societies way of life and work diagnosis is scientifically consensual and shows that we overshooted six to nine planetary boundaries (Persson et al., 2022). At the same time, goals to transform social organization to face these challenges is more or less known. That implies that professional activities are going to change to respect bio-geo-chemical balances.

Scholars involved in the socioecological transformations depict a lack of imagination to create ways and alternatives to revolutionize ways of life and work (e.g. Barrau, 2022). In the vocational psychology fields, many papers claim to consider ecological limits (e.g. Guichard, 2016) but not much works is involved in tools and settings adaptation or transformations to accompagn person (Tacchini et al., 2024). We will discuss about two tools co-build by vocational psychologist that integrate ecological limits in them practices and people that are engaged in alternatives professional paths. This tools will provide alternatives narratives and different professional paths that are more in line with Donut theory (Raworth, 2017), post-growth agenda (Fitzpatrick et al., 2022) and the 21st challenges (e.g.UN goals: food, water cycle, health, etc.).
