Abstract text:
Organizational Psychology, from a leader-centered perspective, finds an innovative proposal in the ontopsychological model of business consultancy. Developed by Antonio Meneghetti (1936-2013), the ontopsychological business consultancy is an intervention tool that starts from the reading of the business or organizational environment as a reflection of the leader's psychological condition. The company is read as a psychosomatic reality, in the sense that the intentionality of the leader and their close agents conditions the functionality or non-functionality of the company. Beyond the technical analysis of administration, the psychic dynamic operating in the leader is analyzed. The ontopsychological practitioner reads the leader by identifying the core of the psyche, called the ontic In-Itself, from which the intuition for business action comes. In this sense, the model presented seeks to act based on the biological method: rationality and intuition. In addition to decisions at a rational level, the leader is led to consider the intuitive plane, which comes from the ontic In-Itself itself, one of the discoveries of Ontopsychology. For Meneghetti, the leader is defined by the possession of intuition. Intuition is understood as the moment information passes from the ontic In-Itself to the ego, allowing for accuracy between being and thinking within the business context. Thus, creativity in the field of business action results from the possession of intuition. Therefore, the ontopsychological model of business consultancy, already structured in undergraduate and graduate courses, provides a significantly important contribution to the broad area of Organizational Psychology.
