Abstract
Objective: Aim of this research is to assess how natural disaster has its significant impact on children and adolescents' mental health leading to increased level of nagative psychological responses and the possible causes suffering PTSD after the devastating event occurred in Joshimath Uttarakhand" Methods: Two hundred eighty children and adolescent (12-18 years; 116 Boys , 164 Girls. Mean = 14.52 years, SD= 1.70) were taken from the different schools of the impacted area. Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale, Child Revised impact of Event Scale were used monitors various aspects of mental health and well-being. Results: Based on result's data analysis, there is a significant Positive correlations between the impact of natural disaster (PTSD) with depression(r = 0.37), anxiety (r = 0.33) & stress (r =0.48). These findings suggest that natural disasters have a profound impact on children and adolescent mental health and well-being
