Abstract text:
In contemporary times, with the advent of Artificial Intelligence and the exponential development of Information Technology, numerous new challenges have emerged in the education of young professionals at the university level. The focus falls on the development of soft skills (life, emotional, and behavioral competencies), hard skills (technical competencies), and this study introduces self skills (intrapersonal competencies) as the foundation for the development of the first two. The objective of this research is to investigate how the development of self skills can occur in the Undergraduate Programs of the Antonio Meneghetti College, primarily in the Bachelor's Degree in Ontopsychology, in Information Systems, and in the educational, cultural, and social projects of the Antonio Meneghetti Foundation for the positive development of youth. This investigation is set within the ecosystem of the Recanto Maestro International Center of Humanist Art and Culture and is grounded in Ontopsychological Science. This is a qualitative, exploratory research study that also incorporates insights from the Design Thinking method. The results point to an original educational approach that fundamentally integrates the application of creative and innovative activities to develop the innate nature project of young students. Furthermore, they highlight the interrelationship between the development of hard skills, soft skills, and self skills for integrated human, professional, technical, social, and scientific growth, alongside innovative learning methodologies used both in educational projects and in university higher education, skills and competencies required by life and by the emerging social contexts of this historical period.
