In today's fast-paced business landscape, organizations recognize the importance of cultivating a resilient workforce to drive success. Kaizen, a Japanese philosophy emphasizing continuous improvement, offers a powerful framework for enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement. This study explores the impact of the Kaizen approach on employee resilience and satisfaction in the workplace. This approach encourages employees to identify areas for improvement, develop problem-solving skills, and implement changes that enhance workflows and processes. However, there is need to explore its effects on employee resilience and satisfaction to help business organizations.
In this study, the case study approach is utilized, and data analysis is conducted using statistical instruments. Through a mixed-methods approach, this research investigates how Kaizen implementation influences employee attitudes and behaviors. The intended participants are Human Resources professionals and Kaizen team members within the manufacturing organization for the investigation.
As a result, employees feel empowered, valued, and invested in the organization's success. Kaizen's focus on small, incremental changes also fosters a sense of achievable goals, promoting motivation and job satisfaction. Employees who participate in Kaizen initiatives report increased feelings of autonomy, motivation, and engagement, leading to improved overall well-being and reduced turnover intentions. The study's results highlight the importance of organizational culture and leadership support in facilitating successful Kaizen implementation. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, organizations can promote employee resilience, satisfaction, and growth, ultimately driving business success.
This research contributes to the existing literature on Kaizen and employee outcomes, providing insights for organizations seeking to improve employee resilience and satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives. The findings have implications for HR practitioners, managers, and organizational leaders aiming to create a positive work environment that supports employee well-being and performance.
