Introduction
The Rey Complex Figure Test (RCFT) is widely used to assess visuoconstructive ability and visual memory. It includes three sequential tasks, Copy (C), Immediate Recall (IR), and Delayed Recall (DR), where performance on earlier tasks can substantially influence later ones or, at least, should be considered to gain a more complete and global understanding and to draw more grounded conclusions. Considering this dependency is essential when constructing normative data.

Purpose
This study proposes are to obtain normative data for a sample of 2,503 individuals aged 6 to 80 years on the three RCFT tasks, using models that account for the sequential dependency among them.

Method
Path analysis provides a comprehensive and detailed view of the relationships among multiple variables, particularly when these relationships are complex, recursive, and interdependent, as in the case of the RCFT tasks. Once the sequential dependency model is established, the differences between expected and observed scores are normed, allowing for a more precise adjustment of performance relative to task interdependence.

Results
Analyses revealed patterns consistent with the sequential nature of RCFT tasks. A strong correlation was observed between performance on the C task and subsequent IR and DR tasks, as well as between IR and DR performance. Path analysis models confirmed that performance on earlier tasks significantly influences visual memory ability in later tasks.

Conclusions
Path analysis provides additional relevant information and more accurately captures variations in performance due to the sequential dependency of RCFT tasks. Moreover, the norming of differences between expected and obtained scores provided additional value, offering a refined view of individual performance that goes beyond traditional normative approaches.
