The rise of AI-powered tools presents transformative opportunities for training and educating future mental health practitioners. This presentation will include an innovative model for integrating AI into clinical training and education, offering participants a roadmap to enhance learning and professional practice that includes training and processing clinical concepts. Some key areas explored will include case vignette transcriptions utilizing publicly available large language models (LLMs) with discussions on how to analyze these sources as learning opportunities in the classroom and clinical setting. The use of AI role-play for clinical case practice will also be applied. Exploration and processing of different theoretical interventions for practice will be demonstrated with the integration of AI role-play for practice. Additionally, the use of AI for diagnostic review and case conceptualization will also be integrated as areas to be discussed. Ethics will also be outlined as it relates to processing clinical concerns relating to AI in mental health treatment. This presentation will provide a brief live demonstration and engage participants in the use of integration of AI in training and education.
