Psychological interventions using digital tools are being widely applied both within and outside the methodological parameters of scientific research in the field of mental health, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. Objectives: The study seeks to investigate which technological resources are being used for innovation in the application of Schema Therapy techniques and to understand the effectiveness of these innovations. It aims to investigate in which Schema Therapy techniques the innovations are being applied, broadening the understanding of their scope and impact. In addition, based on the review, the study aims to propose ethical considerations regarding the use of digital technologies in psychological interventions. Method: A Scope Review is generally used in research in which gaps or greater complexity are identified in defining the conceptual boundaries of a topic, such as the scope of the concepts of 'Technology' and 'Schema Therapy'. Descriptors are defined based on consultation with the Decs/Mesh. The databases consulted are PubMed, PePSIC, and LiLACS, chosen for their relevance and to ensure greater diversity of results. The results will be subject to the following inclusion/exclusion criteria: 1) Technological resources used (based on Virtual Reality and/or Artificial Intelligence and/or Metaverse); 2) Empirical studies in the field of Schema Therapy and the use of digital tools in the techniques of the approach. Results: Initial research shows scarce scientific production focused on theoretical and experimental discussions on the topic. There is evidence of the widespread use of concepts and how this can even influence research methodologically directed toward the use of digital tools in psychological interventions. Discussion: Discussing the ethical aspects of proposing and applying digital technologies in psychological studies and interventions, as well as how these studies can be found in secure databases that are truly focused on Evidence-Based Psychology, is essential for the social commitment of Applied Psychology.
