Background: Beyond career adaptability, it is essential to consider other aspects that influence a more positive life experience, such as positive affect, life satisfaction, and resilience. Including these factors broadens the understanding of the effects of career counseling and provides a more integrated view of personal and professional development. Objectives: To investigate the effects of a career construction model not only on career adaptability (Career-Adaptability Scale) but also on positive affect (Positive Affect Scale), life satisfaction (Life Satisfaction Scale), and resilience (Coping Resilience Brief Scale) across different service modalities. Methods: A total of 377 participants (266 women, 110 men, and 1 intersex), aged between 13 and 56 years (M = 20.86; SD = 6.07), took part in the study. The average family income was 4.19 minimum wages (SD = 3.36). Educational levels ranged from high school in progress to completed postgraduate studies. Counseling sessions took place between 2023 and 2025, in based on internet (84.9%), hybrid (9.8%), and face-to-face (5.3%) formats. The intervention followed the career construction model, conducted in 3 to 4 sessions over two months, using a pre- and post-test design study. Analyses included descriptive statistics, group comparisons, effect size calculations, and bootstrap procedures with 1000 iterations to ensure variance homogeneity. Results: Quantitative results indicated significant improvements in positive affect, life satisfaction, resilience, and career adaptability after the intervention (p < .001), with effect sizes equal to or greater than 0.50. Qualitatively, participants reported greater clarity in career choices, enhanced self-knowledge, and improved future perspectives. Satisfaction indices showed that more than 80% evaluated the experience positively. Conclusion: Career counseling based on the career construction model promoted improvements not only in adaptability but also in emotional and well-being dimensions, suggesting that brief and structured interventions can positively impact multiple aspects of participants' lives.
