SESSION: Minimally Invasive Treatment of CVI & Aesthetic Phlebology: Glue, MOCA, sclerotherapy
22/09/2022 14:00 - 16:00
HALL: WS6

Academy Lead: Zielinski A.

Lead convenor: Stanisic M.

Co-convenor: Gianesini S., Hipola J., Pelak T.

The workshop is designed to discuss the minimally invasive modalities of treatment of venous disorders upon presented cases. Furthermore, hands-on stations will give the participants the possibility to prepare all the equipment (Cyanoacrylate glue kit, Flebogrif, Clarivein, foam kit) to be ready to use and also simulate the procedure. A special role of non-tumescent non-thermal endovenous interventions and sclerotherapy will be highlighted in early stages of disease and in aesthetic phlebology (reticular veins, spider veins).
Some crucial tips and tricks and economic principles of the treatment will be presented and the role of transilumination and ultrasound will be discussed
