Basic workshop to explain the management of acute type B aortic dissections including diagnosis, best medical treatment, indication for invasive treatment and discuss various treatment modalities including need for additional stenting of side branches (referencing ESVS guidelines). This workshop will be largely based on interactive case discussions

Learning Objectives:
•   Definition of acute aortic syndrome
•   Diagnosis acute aortic syndrome (lab, CTA, US, echo heart)
•   Best medical treatment of AAS
•   Indication and timing of intervention
•   Treatment modalities (mainly dealt with in workshop)
