Hands-on workshop demonstrating surgical techniques for dialysis access. Participants will practice techniques on models and will be taught tips and tricks. Techniques for proximal radiocephalic fistula, transposed brachiobasilic fistula and arteriovenous graft (AVG) will be covered. All the accurate recommendations, and useful tips and tricks that will be given in the workshop will enable the attendee to perform an avf creation and in turn increase survival of dialysis patients.


Learning Objectives:
discuss and plan alternatives when a primary radiocephalic or brachiocephalic fistula are not available
create and be familiar with surgical techniques for fistulas and grafts in the arm
