An endovascular aortic repair is more and more present in surgical practice. AAA treated by open repair are complex if not suitable for endovascular. Training complex AAA repair on models is very important since volume of these procedures is decreasing. During the hands-on workshop participants will be able to train the steps of complex AAA open repair including suprasternal clamping and renal reconstruction. Expert faculty will give tips and tricks to improve open vascular surgery skills.

Suprarenal and supra-celiac clamp placement.
End-to-end juxta-renal aortic anastomosis.
Renal bypass techniques.
Renal and visceral perfusion strategies.
Performing open AAA repair, yourself.
Assisting in open AAA repair.
