Arteriovenous fistula planning is the most important step before creating successful dialysis accesses, and ultrasound plays a key role on it. Its usefulness has been widely demonstrated and is recommended by ESVS guidelines.
All the accurate recommendations, and useful tips and tricks that will be given in the workshop will enable the attendee to use ultrasound to plan AVF which will help to improve access patency and maturation and in turn, increase survival of dialysis patients.

Learning Objectives:
Be able to indicate the best AVF creation possibility for a particular case, based on ultrasound examination
Plan other AVF creation possibilities, balancing the pros and cons
Predict most common possible complications for each AVF creation possibility
