Session: Dynamic AI-human collaboration in socio-technical augmented work settings: future research directions
17/06/2025 11:00 - 12:30
Hall: B2 2.12

Chair: N. Edh

As organizations begin to treat artificial intelligence (AI) as a team member in socio-technical work settings, new questions emerge about how tasks, responsibilities, and knowledge should be shared. This shift challenges traditional job design and raises the need to better understand the interplay between humans and AI in hybrid teams — a key concern for future operations management. This special session invites an open, interactive discussion on how AI-human collaboration reshapes work in operations management. Together, we will identify emerging research needs and opportunities — not only to advance the field, but to co-create a shared research agenda and shape this transformation through collective insight.
