Teaching and research in sustainability in the operations management context is paramount in educating and empowering future managers and leaders to recognize challenges and opportunities in the production and provision of sustainable goods and services. This session focusses on the Sustainability Mindset and showcases how this framework can be employed in operations management related contexts. Additionally, the workshop will provide insights on how to ensure research is conducted in more inclusive and representative ways. Specifically, the audience will be introduced the Sustainability Mindset and its principles, as well as how it can be assessed using the Sustainability Mindset Indicator®, an innovative assessment and personal development tool. Additonally, we will talk about how to create research impact (with and for whom) and how to sustain and increase the impact in a holistic way.
