Teraa Martin
I am Martin Teraa (MD, PhD, FEBVS), I am a vascular surgeon at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU), Utrecht, the Netherlands. After my medical studies at the UMCU I did my PhD in vascular surgery and focused on stem cell therapy and neo-angiogenesis in no-option chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI). After optaining my PhD I started (vascular) surgical training at the department of vascular surgery at the UMCU and currently work there as a vascular surgeon. In 2021 I passed the FEBVS exam with honors and gold medal. My clinical and research focus is on peripheral artery disease (PAD) and (complex) aortic pathology. I am a statistical member of the EJVES editorial board and editorial board member of the EJVES Vascular Forum. And board member of the European Vascular Research Collaborative (EVRC).
