This paper explores the concept of Situated Knowledge, as articulated by Donna Haraway, in the formation of religious knowledge within specific socio-cultural contexts. By applying the concept of epistemic entanglements, I argue that emerging religious knowledge is not merely a product of isolated experiences but rather a dynamic interplay of diverse elements that combine and recombine different knowledge systems, as alluded to by the notion of epistemic entanglements. (Feldtkeller, 2023 and Chow, 2012). This presentation will elucidate how epistemic entanglements can serve as a heuristic tool, enabling a deeper understanding of the processes through which individuals and communities transform traditional religious knowledge. By examining case studies involving Muslims and Islamic traditions in contemporary settings, I illustrate such epistemic entanglements, demonstrating aspects that demonstrate how multiple knowledge systems converge in the production and transformation of religious traditions.
