This paper aims at discussing the work on tagging intertextual references from the Greek Bibles in Nonnus of Panopolis' Paraphrase. The presentation deals with the specificities of the tagging work on a poetic text and encompasses cases that span all the categories of the metric developed by the PRIN team semantic classification of Biblical references. The selected cases show how some linguistic phenomena typical of Nonnus' text can fit into or even challenge the classification, especially on the level of structural references.
