Text:
Belgian Ignace D'hert O.P. did his doctorate at Oxford in the early 1970s where he developed a close relationship with Cornelius Ernst O.P., supervised by (now Cardinal) Timothy Radcliffe O.P. His dissertation gathers insights from Ernst into an attempt to develop a Wittgensteinian ontology as a medium for theology. D'hert unites contemplative practice with mystical theology as he re-articulates the nature and function of faith language today.
