The Coranica Exhibition represents an important occasion for the encounter between
textual tradition and contemporary research on interreligious dialogue. Through the
valorisation of Ludovico Marracci's work Alcorani Textus Universus, distinguished by its
philological and textual rigor, the exhibition offers a space for knowledge and exchange,
fostering a deeper understanding of religious traditions and their mutual relationships.
Building on this exhibition experience, the event titled "Magnifica Humanitas and Human
Fraternity: an inspiration for Interreligious Dialogue" develops a broader reflection on
the anthropological and theological foundations of human fraternity. The thematic pathway
aims to highlight how the doctrinal roots of different religious traditions can contribute to the
construction of a culture of fraternity, understood not merely as an ethical ideal, but as an
operative principle of dialogue, coexistence, and mutual recognition.
The contributions of the participating speakers will offer complementary perspectives from
academic, ecclesial, and Islamic contexts, with the aim of highlighting the possibilities of
convergence between religious traditions in promoting a shared vision of human dignity. In
this sense, the transition "Magnifica Humanitas and Human Fraternity" becomes the guiding
thread of an interdisciplinary reflection on the contemporary meaning of interreligious
dialogue.
The initiative thus takes shape as a laboratory of thought and exchange, where the memory
of traditions and the interpretation of the present intertwine to generate new perspectives of
mutual understanding and peace.
