PARTICIPATION CATEGORIES AND REGISTRATION FEES
There are two broad participation categories:
Registering as a Standard Delegate entitles you to participation at COMET 2024, including lunches, drinks, receptions and conference material.
Registering as a COMET society member entitles you not only to participation at the conference (including lunches, drinks, receptions and conference material) but also to COMET Society membership for one year. As a society member you will receive a year’s online subscription to the Journal Communication & Medicine [C&M] and you will be entitled to 30% discount on all Equinox books (ordered directly from their website using a unique code for a period of one year). You will also be added to the Distribution List for receiving future COMET-related announcements.

Privacy Policy White Page Events INFORMATION PURSUANT TO Articles 12,13,14 RGPD - European Privacy Regulation 2016/679 White Pages Events, "as" owner "(1) of the processing (2) of personal data, in accordance with European Regulation 2016/679, is required to provide interested parties (3), pursuant to art. 13, information regarding the processing of personal data collected. The aforementioned Regulation aims to ensure that the processing of personal data (4) is carried out in compliance with the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, in order to protect them from any improper processing by the "data controller" himself, who is therefore required to inform and to acquire the prior consent (5) to the processing, pursuant to art. 13 and 14 European Privacy Regulation. INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCESSING OF THE PERSONAL DATA OF THE INTERESTED PARTY Methods of collecting personal data Personal data is provided directly by the interested parties at White Pages Events and / or on all occasions in which it is possible to support company initiatives, projects and activities. Purpose of the processing of personal data The collection and processing of personal data are carried out for the related purposes: a) the obligations related to the support of the initiatives, activities and projects promoted and implemented by White Pages Events b) administrative-accounting-fiscal fulfilments; Methods of processing personal data White Pages Events intends to inform you that: a) for the aforementioned purposes, your data will be processed in the manner provided; b) your data may also be processed with IT, telephone, telematic, audiovisual tools, magnetic, paper and manual, in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and security established by law; c) in case of cessation of a treatment, for any reason, the data will be destroyed. d) In providing your data, you enjoy the rights referred to in Articles 15 and 16 of the European Privacy Regulation 2016/679. You can freely dispose and exercise the rights on the assets of your personal data through the modalities (6) envisaged. Nature of the provision of personal data The provision of personal data is mandatory in order to carry out the activities of White Pages Events, however it is emphasized that any lack of consent to the provision of data for the purposes referred to in point B. lett A), B), C) relating to the obligations related to the support of the initiatives, activities, projects promoted and implemented and to the involvement in initiatives and activities to raise awareness, promote and propose White Pages Events projects, as well as for administrative obligations - accounting. Therefore, any subsequent opposition or withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data will therefore result in the immediate impediment to continuing the relationship. Any refusal to provide data for the additional purposes indicated in point B. lett. D), will not entail any consequences, except for the impossibility of being informed about any initiatives. Communication of personal data to third parties In carrying out its activities and for the realization of the institutional purposes, as owner we will be able to communicate the personal data of the interested party in accordance with the consent expressed, in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Code, to the following categories of subjects: our Customers b) subjects who collaborate with the Company c) all media on which awareness campaigns are to be conveyed, including social networks d) All consultants and / or duly authorized collaborators. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him, even if not yet registered, and their communication in an intelligible form. 2. The interested party has the right to obtain information on: a) the origin of personal data; b) the purposes and methods of the processing; c) of the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic tools; d) the identity of the owner, manager and the representative appointed under Article 5, paragraph 2; e) the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who can learn about them as appointed representative in the territory of the State, managers or agents. 3. The interested party has the right to obtain: a) updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data; b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those that do not need to be kept for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed; c) the attestation that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, also as regards their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which this fulfillment is proves impossible or involves the use of means that are manifestly disproportionate to the protected right. 4. The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part: a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection; b) to the processing of personal data concerning him for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication. (1) "owner", the natural person, legal person, public administration and any other body, association or organization which is responsible, even jointly with another owner, for decisions regarding the purposes, methods of processing personal data and the tools used, including the safety profile; (2) "treatment", any operation or set of operations, carried out even without the aid of electronic tools, concerning the collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection , the extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, cancellation and destruction of data, even if not registered in a database; (3) "interested party", the natural person, legal person, entity or association to which the personal data refer; (4) "personal data", any information relating to a natural person, legal person, organization or association, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number. (5) (Consent). 1. The processing of personal data by private individuals or public economic entities is permitted only with the express consent of the interested party. 2. Consent may concern the entire processing or one or more operations thereof. 3. Consent is validly given only if it is expressed freely and specifically with reference to a clearly identified treatment, if it is documented in writing, and if the information referred to in Article 13 has been provided to the interested party. 4. Consent is expressed in writing when the processing concerns sensitive data. (6) (Exercise of rights) 1. The rights referred to in Article 7 are exercised with a request addressed without formalities to the owner or manager, also through a person in charge, to whom appropriate feedback is provided without delay. 2. The rights referred to in Article 7 cannot be exercised with a request to the owner or manager or with an appeal pursuant to Article 145, if the processing of personal data is carried out: a) on the basis of the provisions of the decree-law 3 May 1991, n. 143, converted, with modifications, by the law July 1991, n. 197, and subsequent amendments, regarding money laundering; b) based on the provisions of the decree-law of 31 December 1991, n. 419, converted, with modifications, by the law 18 February 1992, n. 172, and subsequent amendments, regarding support for victims of extortion requests; c) by parliamentary committees of inquiry established pursuant to Article 82 of the Constitution; d) by a public entity, other than public economic entities, on the basis of an express provision of the law, for exclusive purposes relating to monetary and currency policy, the payment system, the control of intermediaries and credit and financial markets, including the protection their stability; e) pursuant to Article 24, paragraph 1, letter f), limited to the period during which an actual and concrete prejudice could arise for the conduct of defensive investigations or for the exercise of the right in court; f) by suppliers of electronic communications services accessible to the public in relation to incoming telephone communications, unless an actual and concrete prejudice may arise for the conduct of defensive investigations pursuant to law no. 397; g) for reasons of justice, in judicial offices of all levels or the Superior Council of the Judiciary or other self-governing bodies or the Ministry of Justice; h) pursuant to article 53, without prejudice to the provisions of law no. 121. 3. The Guarantor, also upon notification of the interested party, in the cases referred to in paragraph 2, letters a), b), d), e) and f) shall act in the manner referred to in articles 157, 158 and 159 and, in the cases referred to in letters c), g) and h) of the same paragraph, shall proceed in the manner referred to in Article 160. 4. The exercise of the rights referred to in Article 14, when it does not concern objective data, may take place unless concerns the rectification or integration of personal data of an evaluation type, relating to judgments, opinions or other subjective assessments, as well as the indication of conduct to be held or decisions being taken by the data controller (7 ) "Responsible", the natural person, legal person, public administration and any other body, association or body appointed by the owner to process personal data.
