Low-income countries are those classified as “low-income” according to the World Bank country classification. For the complete list of these countries, please refer to the official World Bank list. For the 2026 fiscal year, low-income economies are defined as those with a GNI per capita, calculated using the World Bank Atlas method, of USD 1,135 or less in 2024. Please note: To be eligible for the Researcher/Industry Low-Income Countries fee, you must be employed in one of the countries listed. Eligibility is based on your place of work, not your country of origin.
