Mr McCaslin is a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at the Norther Vascular Centre, Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. He trained in the North East of England and did a fellowship in Perth, Western Australia focussing on endovascular surgery. He is treasurer for the British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET), acts as Training Programme Director (TPD) for vascular in the North East, cofounded UKETS (a cross speciality endovascular training collaboration) and is clinical lead for vascular surgery at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, UK.
