Luca Bertoglio graduated from medical school at University of Genova, Italy in 2003. He started his vascular surgery residency at the "Vita-Salute" University - San Raffaele Hospital, Milan under the direct mentorship of Professor Roberto Chiesa. After completion of his training, he has held a consultant position in vascular surgery at the Division of Vascular Surgery of the San Raffaele Hospital, Milan. His clinical and research interest is aortic pathology treated by means of open or endovascular techniques. Since 2014, he has been responsible for the endovascular functional unit of the Division. Since 2020, he has been appointed of a Associated Professor of Vascular Surgery position at Vita Salute San Raffaele University
