Florian Enzmann studied medicine in Vienna, Austria. He completed his vascular surgery training in Salzburg, Austria, followed by a complex aortic fellowship in Bristol, UK. From 2016 to 2019 he was a board member of the Austrian Society for Vascular Surgery and from 2017 to 2020 the Austrian EVST councillor. His research activities are mainly focused on bypass surgery and endovascular therapy for peripheral arterial disease. In this context he received several national and international research awards including the Young Author Achievement Award of the American College of Cardiology in 2020. Currently, he works as the head of endovascular surgery at the Department of Vascular Surgery, Medical University Innsbruck, Austria.
