As part of the initial phase of developing a second GAME for young people aged 12-15, I am currently working on the game plot. The requirement is to incorporate the historical figure of Theodor Herzl, who spent his youth in Budapest. To deepen the connection between THE PLAYER (the person who will play the game) and the historical figure, our team decided to portray Theodor Herzl as a teenager. What is interesting here is, how clearly Herzl's determined spirit of inquiry and his desire to assimilate into the society around him are already evident in his "teenage years," without denying the fundamental traits of a visionary genius. Since this game is also about conveying important historical details to THE PLAYER through mini-games and puzzles, we use the historical map of Budapest and send them on a grand discovery tour with puzzle pieces featuring elements of the city's history and Jewish memorial sites.
