This paper reinterprets the role of professional firms (and SMEs) in contemporary society, viewing them as agents of ethical, cultural and organizational mediation within transformation processes involving businesses, stakeholders and territories. In this role, professional firms help ensure high-quality decision-making, build trust in relationships and maintain a balance between innovation, responsibility and sustainability. From this perspective, the Ethical Pact emerges as a key element in redefining the identity of the "Studio 5.0." The pact provides a framework for value-based governance that translates ethical principles into practical actions, everyday practices and measurable commitments. It also helps guide the responsible use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence by keeping people, transparency, human oversight, and professional accountability at the center, while ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting clients' data.
