D. Tracy's valorisation of imagination in theology has given rise, over recent decades, to a wealth of new perspectives on the theological significance of imagination. The present paper offers a concise survey of these contributions in relation to Tracy's thought. Following an overview of such authors as D. Brown, A. Greeley, G. Green, G. D. Kaufman, L. Ryken, N. Steeves, and J.-P. Pierron, a synthetic vision of the role of imagination in contemporary theology will be proposed.
